Strategies

See below for some useful tips to give you an edge against your opponents while playing the game.

Tip #1

If you have more than 1 Kitchen {K} card,
It may not be a good idea to hold on to both of them.

You cannot obtain a Complete Hand if you have more than one Kitchen {K} card.

Tip #2

If your team didn’t serve, and the opposing team lays down a Complete Hand, on your last play, you should still take a card from the Draw Pile.

It’s your last chance to draw a Dink Shot {D} card, and to get 1 point and to possibly win the serve.

Tip #3

When discarding a card, during your turn, consider discarding the #1 card or #10 card, unless it helps you obtain a Complete Hand.

The #1 and #10 cards have limited possibilities when using them in working toward a straight.

Tip #4

If you have a Dink Shot {D} card, and if your team didn’t serve, on your turn consider laying down your hand.

This ends the Rally, without the necessity of you having a Complete Hand and reduces the chance of the serving team obtaining a Complete Hand and thus get a point and/or points.
